Terms of Use
The rules for using cogneet.com and its content — client projects are covered by their own signed agreement.
The short version
- You may read, share and quote our pages, as long as you link back to the page you quote.
- Results in our case studies describe specific projects; they are not a promise for yours.
- Nothing on the site is legal, financial or other professional advice.
- Indian law governs these terms, and you keep the consumer rights of the country you live in.
This page is being reviewed by our lawyers and may change. When it does, the date at the top of the page changes too.
About these terms
These terms apply to anyone who uses cogneet.com, the website of Cogneet, a digital marketing and technology agency with its head office in Faridabad (Delhi NCR), India, and an office in West Kelowna, British Columbia, Canada. By using the site you accept them; if you do not agree, please do not use it.
They cover the website only. Projects we deliver for clients are governed by the proposal and agreement signed for each engagement, and how we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
Using the site
You are welcome to browse, share and link to any public page on cogneet.com. When you use the site or its forms, please do not:
- send false information, spam or another person’s details through our forms;
- try to reach parts of the site that are not public, or test its security without our written permission;
- run automated tools at a rate that slows the site down for other people;
- copy the site’s design or code to present another website as Cogneet’s.
We may block access for anyone who breaks these rules. If you find a security problem, please report it to hi@cogneet.com before telling anyone else, and we will fix it and thank you.
Our content
The text, designs, illustrations, videos and code on cogneet.com belong to Cogneet or to the clients and partners who let us use them. Client names and logos are trademarks of their owners and appear with their permission.
You may quote short passages with a link to the page they come from. Republishing whole pages, case studies or articles needs our written permission — ask at hi@cogneet.com and we usually say yes.
AI assistants and Markdown pages
Every content page on cogneet.com has a Markdown version, and cogneet.com/llms.txt lists them all, so search engines and AI assistants can read the site accurately. They are welcome to read, summarize and cite it.
When an answer quotes Cogneet, it should link to the page the quote comes from. Our preferences for search, AI answers and model training are declared in cogneet.com/robots.txt; today all three are allowed.
Case studies and results
Results on the site, such as those in our case studies, describe what happened on one project, in one market and period. They show what is possible, not what another business will achieve, and they are not a promise of results for yours.
Figures and testimonials are published with the client’s approval. Any estimate for your own project is given in writing, in a proposal.
Links to other websites
We link to other websites when they help explain something. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
Disclaimers and liability
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but it is provided “as is”: information can go out of date, and the site may occasionally be unavailable. Nothing on it is legal, financial, tax or other professional advice.
As far as the law allows, Cogneet is not liable for any loss that comes from using the site or relying on its content. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that the law does not allow us to limit, or your rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Faridabad, Haryana, have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you live outside India — in Canada, for example — you also keep any rights the consumer law of your home country gives you.
Changes to these terms
We update these terms when the site or the law changes. The date at the top of the page shows the latest version, and the version in force on the day you use the site is the one that applies.
Email hi@cogneet.com and we will reply within five working days.
